The 2025's annual Holiday fundraising event, the OVBA Jingle & Mingle, was Monday, December 15, at Lola's Beach Cantina. The event was open to everyone and the entire community of Ocean View was invited. The event had between 50-60 attendees and much fun was had by all.

Each year, the board of directors for the OVBA chooses 2-3 local OV charities to raise money for. The Association provides the venue and heavy appetizers, with a cash bar. It also includes a silent auction of donated items and baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and a chance to celebrate the community of Ocean View.

The event was sponsored by the following local businesses for 2025

• Jennifer Duncan with Edward Jones Investments

Every dollar made from ticket sales, donations, auction items, and 50/50 raffle is donated to the charities. This year the three charities the OVBA chose to support were:

• The Holy Trinity Church Food Pantry
• OV Elementary school PTA
• Norfolk Ronald McDonald House

In 2025 the event raised $2,256.62 and each charity received a check for $752.21. The 50/50 raffle winner was Judy Boone, of Judy Boone Realty. Judy chose to donate her winnings back to the charities and her $220 was included in the grand total.
